This nine hole course in San Lorenzo Park is the newest course in Santa Cruz, California. The course starts at the Water Street Bridge and reaches almost to the Soquel Street Bridge.

The baskets for this nine hole course in San Lorenzo Park were installed on May 25th, 2012. San Lorenzo Park is a strip park that runs alongside the San Lorenzo River in Santa Cruz, California. The tee areas have been carved into the ground, are currently marked by two flags at the front line and eventually look to have cement pads poured.
The course starts under the Water Street bridge and continues south, not quite reaching the Soquel Avenue bridge. All holes are about 200 feet in length and are laid out in a straight line, threading through the trees along the river bank. Hole 8 has an elevated tee and reaches the farthest point south on the course. Hole 9 turns back north and goes back towards the start.
This is a fun, short course for families that's close to the downtown area of Santa Cruz. This is considered a par 3 course, but with a decent drive, scoring a 2 will be possible on every hole.
