The Arthur Ilfeld Mansion at 1053 8th Street was built circa 1908-1913. The imposing mansion is in a Jacobethan Revival style, with steep roof gables, fine brickwork and towering chimneys. It is considered one of the finest examples of Jacobethan architecture in New Mexico. Arthur Ilfeld is the son of New Mexico's merchandise giant Charles Ilfeld, Arthur was an executive in the firm

The house is in excellent condition and continues to serve as private residence.
