On the French Riviera the Saint foils a robbery of Dona Luisa Arroya and her young companion Consuela. The pair tell the Saint that they are a rich family in exile from Santa Cruz and they are trying to sell some jewellery to raise money to gain power in Santa Cruz. The Saint goes along with them, but soon realises that the jewels are fakes and are being used as a test of Dona Luisa’s supposed supporters.
For French Riviera think Beacon Road Ivinghoe with the odd potted palm plant strategically placed in the camera field of view. There are two clips along Beacon Road. One is at the oft used bend at the top of the rise, the second somewhat further on.
