The D.T. Lowry house at 519 Washington was built in 1898. The house is one of the town's finest Queen Anne style houses. The house has several different roof shapes including hipped, gable and conical. The house has a conical corner tower, spindle-work porch, and stylized columns. The house has recently undergone extensive restoration.
The house is in very good condition and continues to serve as a private residence.
