The church has been rebuilt many times. The structure we see today is largely the work of Lady Anne Clifford, who restored the church at her own expense and had her initials moulded in to the plaster at the east end. AP 1660 standing for Ann of Pembroke as she had been married to Lord Pembroke. (visit link)
