The Battle of the Three Emperors (near by Austerlitz/Slavkov), was one of Napoleon's greatest victories, where the French Empire effectively crushed the Third Coalition. On 2 December 1805 a French army, commanded by Emperor Napoleon I, decisively defeated a Russo-Austrian army, commanded by Tsar Alexander I and Holy Roman Emperor Francis I, after nearly nine hours of difficult fighting. The battle took place near Austerlitz (Slavkov u Brna) about 10 km south-east of Brno in Moravia, at that time in the Austrian Empire (present day Czech Republic). The battle is often regarded as a tactical masterpiece.

Heavy fighting took place in the northern part of Austerlitz/Slavkov battlefield near the villages of Holubice and Kruh. About 8 a.m., 1000 cavalrymen from Bagration's Column attacked the hostile French light cavalry, which attempted to avert the attack. More than three hundred horses dropped dead and the others were stumbling over, throwing off their riders. The french light cavalry rallied again behind the wall of infantry and started a counterattack. The Russian attack turned into retreat.

You can find this monument on the northern edge Holubice village. About 300 meters away is
concrete mixing plant Zappa firm. Its buildings and equipment is stylized a four Napoleonic soldiers and guns above life size.
