This post office was dedicated into public service in 1984 by Ronald Reagan ( then President of the United States ) and William F. Bolger ( who was then Postmaster General ). The postal service has rated this a four star post office. The post office has a strange parking lot. You can only access the building from S. Jackson St, and exit onto W. Lauderdale St. If you want to drop mail off ONLY then you can come in off of W. Lauderdale street to the back of the post office and drop mail into the standard Blue Mailbox.
