This large boundary marker stone is
sited on the old A20 road between Folkestone and Dover at Capel le Ferne in
Kent. It is inscribed;

MAYOR
It seems the marker has recently been 'touched up' by persons unknown, and the
hedge, which had grown around it hiding it from view, has been cut back.
