One of the few remaining original bridges/undercrossings in Klamath Falls, OR, the Main Street Undercrossing was constructed in 1939 and commemorated with a bronze plaque on the SE corner of Main and Spring Street. The undercrossing has weathered the years but many of the metal vertical rails on both sides of the bridge are broken, cracked or missing. Also, the north side (left side of of the undercrossing sidewalk was filled with concrete to prevent foot traffic under the underpass. This was done in the late 70s.
There is safe parking on Spring St next to the Klamath County Museum.
