Ludwigskirche in Old Saarbrücken, Germany, is a Protestant baroque style church. It is the symbol of the city and is considered to be one of the most important Protestant churches in Germany.
As the symbol of the Saarland state capitol of Saarbrücken, Ludwigskirche is shown on the German 2 Euro commemorative coin in 2009.
By the way, foreign language guidebooks often describe Ludwigskirche as "St. Louis church". However, it is not dedicated to Saint Louis, but named for prince Ludwig von Nassau-Saarbrücken, who completed its construction. ;-)
