The co-ordinates given are not for the bridge
but for a suitable viewing location on the north bank to the east of the bridge.
Similar locations are available on the south bank. From the west, the bridge is
difficult to see due to Blackfriars road bridge crossing the river (WMD2K8).
Pictures of the railway bridge can be safely taken from the road bridge that has
wide footpaths for pedestrians.
Blackfriars railway station is being refurbished and, as a part of that work,
the stations platforms will become a part of the bridge that is having
considerable work done to it.
The bridge has five arches across the width of the river.
