The Dr. H.J. Mueller House at 524 Columbia was built in 1881. The house has an eclectic mix of Victorian era styles. The house feature a three story Second Empire octagonal tower with Mansard roof with porthole windows topped with an iron widows walk. The house itself exhibits Italianate features of brackets at the eaves and window hoods. It has Queen Anne features of massing and railing and arches on the porch.
The house was rehabilitated in 1996 and is in excellent condition. The house now serves as bed and breakfast.
