The Waring/Rosenthal House at 800 5th Street was built 1895-1898. The house is in a Queen Anne style with a complex gabled roof system with decorative shingles and bargeboards. The gables have fishscale wood shingles and sunburst appliques. The house has an offset porch facing at an angle from house with posts supports.

The house is in very good condition and continues to serve as a private residence.
