Las Vegas Depot


The Santa Fe Railroad Depot was built in 1899. The depot is in a Mission style. The one-story brick depot hipped tile roof. The center section has two-stories. The door and window opens have arched topped. The depot features a large overhanging porch supported by iron brackets.

In 2003 the City of Las Vegas completed a $1.2 million renovation of the depot. It now serves as the city's visitor center, intermodal transportation facility with Amtrak having two trains a day serving the depot.
