The two smaller shells are about four feet tall and the largest is nearly seven feet tall. Each shell is depicted in natural colors. There are mounted in a graveled area in front of the museum on the north side of the entrance.

진도해양생태관

This is truly and educational site, with marine life displays that show not only things such as fossils and shells, but also displays of various marine habitats and ecosystems. A wonderful Sea Shell Photo Blog displays many of the rare shells collected here.

This is located near Gagye Beach and the north end of the famous Miracle Road. This walkway along the beach leads to the site where a land bridge appears about twice a year at extreme low tide, connecting this island to the smaller island of Modo, several kilometers to the east. An annual festival here in the early spring attracts as many as a quarter million visitors
