This is a small branch police station on the island of Jindo off the southern tip of Korea.

There are only a few stores and houses in this village along Route 18 on Jindo, but the people are very friendly. The restaurant across the street is a great lunch stop. Traffic coming around the curve into town from the north can be hazardous. A new highway may bypass this place, though.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
