A small plaque on a concrete plinth located alongside
the riverside footpath at The Strand in Gillingham. It reads MEDWAY CRUISING
CLUB 1895 - 1995. It has 2 sailing vessels one either side of the Kent Invicta
Horse, and CENTENARY along the bottom. It may be found in front of the APACHE
STATION sign along the footpath. The Medway Cruising Club History can be viewed
