"Das Labyrinth symbolisiert die Suche des Menschen nach der Mitte. Die Bögen und Wendungen sind wie ein Spiegel der eigenen Lebenswendungen. Wer nicht stehen bleibt und weiter geht kommt an. In der Mitte befindet sich eine goldglänzende Sonnenscheibe. Es heißt wer in den goldenen Spiegel blickt kann den Minotaurus sehen. Aufgrund der Goldscheibe und der meist gelben Blumenbepflanzung bekam das Labyrinth den Namen "Das Sonnenrad." Jährlich zu St. Martin (11.11.) wird das Labyrinth in ein Lichterlabyrinth verwandelt.
