군산휴게소 IC15(남)

This rest area retains the old spelling for the city of Kunsan (now Gunsan), a major port city on the west coast of Korea, home of a large military air base, and the northern end of Saemangeum Banjogae (the Great Sea Wall), the longest in the world.

There is a nice scenic overlook of the valley to the west. A large stone monument has been erected to commemorate the building of the Seohaean (West Coast) Expressway (IC-15).
