The Front Royal - Warren County Visitors Center is located in the Main Street Station, the old restored train depot, at 414 E. Main St. in Front Royal. Virginia. It provides information on dining, lodging, shopping, activities and attractions in Warren County and displays of artifacts and other historic materials. Front Royal is located in the Shenandoah Valley near the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah River. Known as the canoe capital of VA, Front Royal is also a gateway to Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah River State Park and Skyline Caverns.
The Visitors Center is the starting point for the Walking Tour of Front Royal, a self-guided tour through town to many of the historic sites and features; and The Battle of Front Royal Driving Tour, a self-guided tour to key spots of the Civil War battle that took place during the Valley Campaign.
