If you love the old fashioned grocery stores from way back PLEASE check out the photos in this waymark, this one is a step back in time! A true diamond in the rough.

Dont just click on the pictures in the waymark, go to the gallery then click on the picture again to get it in full original size. Scope out all the goods on the shelves. See what you can find, batteries, fruit loops, tequila, tang, toilet paper, cookies you can buy one by one in a jar, the list of merchandise is amazing but its all behind the counter and just like in the old days you tell the grocer what you want and they get it for you.
Check out the cabinetry and floors. As best I could tell they were all original from the 1800's, they showed no signs of replacement or even rehab, maybe repairs to keep it functioning but that it! Look at the floor.It too looked totally out of the 1800's. The boards were wide and just bare planks. No tongue and grove or fanciness to them, strictly functionality. See if you can find the lighting for the store, its a bare clear bulb hanging from the wires.
The doors to the place were the same way, absolutely as it was in the 1800's. Three huge old wooden doors all across the front of the store and one on the side that ran from floor to ceiling and 3 inches solid.
