This Outback Steakhouse, under the proprietorship of Dae Young Kwon, is located on one of the narrow streets that make up the network of upscale shops, theater, and restraurants called Myeongdong. There is another Outback Steakhouse about a block away in the Metro Hotel building.
Myeongdong has long been a magnet for the young, trendy set with its modern shopping venues, theaters, and upscale eateries. There is also a lesser known, but extensive underground shopping area that stretches for blocks - another common element of life in the capital city.
