Sie stellt eine Figur des Telfer Schleicherlaufens dar - den Wilden.
"Beim Schleicherlaufen in Telfs/Österreich, einem alle fünf Jahre stattfindenden Fasnachtsumzug, treten Wilde Männer in Zusammenhang mit der Figur des Panzenaffs auf. Sie haben bei dieser Veranstaltung die Funktion der Ordnungshüter. Die Verkleidung der auftretenden Akteure ist vollständig mit Baumbart, einer Flechtenart behangen. Vor dem Gesicht tragen sie eine hässliche Maske mit langer Nase, Warzen und buschigen Augenbrauen. An den Händen tragen die Akteure schwarze Handschuhe. Sie sind mit rohen Ästen bewaffnet.
