Official Description:
DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1967 AT JEFFERSON CITY. AT JEFFERSON CITY, AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF ANDREW JOHNSON HIGHWAY AND SOUTH RUSSELL AVENUE, SET VERTICALLY IN THE WEST FACE AND NEAR THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE STONE FOUNDATION OF THE POST OFFICE BUILDING, 5 FEET SOUTH OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE BUILDING, 1 FOOT ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE GROUND AND 4 FEET ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE AVENUE.

Found as described. Andrew Johnson Highway (11E) has been moved to become four lanes to south.
