Bellevue was a town until incorporating as a village on February 14, 2003. The population of the area that became the village was 11,828 in 2000. The village population sign is missing the 2 in the population. It is in need of repair and it should be up-dated.
A progressive community located within the Green Bay Metropolitan Area, the Village of Bellevue is one of Brown County's fastest growing municipalities with a population of approximately 15,000 residents.
The Village currently has approximately 242 acres of parkland and 86 acres of conservancy. 100 parkland acres are developed and classified as mini, neighborhood, linear or community park spaces. The park system is maintained through summer seasonal staff members, who are employed from approximately May 15th to August 15th of each year.
There is public parking on the Allouez side of the bridge at N44 28.483 / 088 00.553 across Allouez Ave from the Allouez population sign. Parking is private and posted on the Bellevue side of the bridge.
