Graythwaite Hall gardens are open to the public with many themed areas. Parking and honesty box. Part of the gardens were laid out by Mawson, the famous landscape architect.

All around the gardens are impressive trees each with a small plaque displaying the Latin name and possibly date of planting. Just follow the path around the outside of the mown lawns, across a little stone bridge.
