Depicted in this granite sculpture is a family - mother and father facing each other with two children between the. The figures are slightly abstracted.
Most towns and neighborhoods in Korea have a citizens center or a cultural center where community meetings, educational activities, and small gatherings can take place. This one has these family sculptures on the outside and an ample paved parking lot. Yesan is a rural town southwest of the cities of Cheonan and Asan.
