The Innisfail Volunteer Fire Department responds to approximately 200 emergency calls each year. Although all varieties of fires are responded to their calls include dangerous goods incidents, motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, high/low angle rescues, ice rescues, water rescues and swift water rescues.
In addition to providing the needs of the town of Innisfail, this fire department responds to incidents in the areas surrounding the community in the County of Red Deer.
