This cross cairn is located just off PA State Route 474 at a fishing access to French Creek near Wattsburg, PA. The cairn, which is located on the south bank of the creek, was created by nearby residents and appears to be about 3-4 feet tall and constructed from mainly flat rocks. Access to the creek is allowed for fishing, but posted signs state fishing is only allowed from the creek and not the creek banks. Pictures of the cairn can easily be taken from the public parking area located just off PA SR 474 near the fishing access entry point. Please respect the area and the local residents, and do not cross the creek, etc., to view or inspect the cairn.
There is also a nearby puzzle geocache.
