The road surface is gone and only the roadbed remains along with bridge abutments on either side of the Rouge River. The survey mark is in the road bed below grade. A witness post is located about 1.5 to the west of the monument cover. The survey mark is located approximately 480 feet from Hines Drive.

Parking is available on a gravel portion of the old road. Parking is also available across Hines Drive at Nankin Mills.
