The wooden tower from recent time. The tower is located on a hill Císarský kámen one kilometer northwest from Milíre village, about 8km west from Jablonec nad Nisou.

Inauguration of 19 September 2009 was associated with the 230th anniversary of the visit of Emperor Joseph II. He visited this place twice in 1779, he supervised the fortification work during the war there. This event remember
a block of granite engraved with the inscription located under the tower. At this time the hill got their name Emperor stone (Císarský kámen). The Emperor in 1779 praised this strategic location and proposed to establish a fort here.

The new tower was built on Emperor stone 125 years later, when Liberec Mountain Association planned to build its first lookout tower here.

Drevená rozhledna z novejší doby. Rozhledna je umístena na kopci Císarský kámen 1km severozápadne od osady Milíre, cca 8km západne od Jablonce nad Nisou.

Slavnostní otevrení dne 19. zárí 2009 bylo spojeno s 230. výrocím návštevy císare Josefa II. Ten totiž v roce 1779 toto místo dvakrát navštívil, aby odtud dohlédl na opevnovací práce behem války. Událost pripomíná pod veží umístený žulový blok s vyrytým nápisem. V té dobe získal díky této události kopec svoje soucasné jméno. Císar už v roce 1779 údajne ocenil strategickou polohu a navrhoval zde zrídit pevnost.

Nová rozhledna byla na Císarském kameni postavena 125 let poté, kdy zde Liberecký Horský spolek plánoval postavit svou první vyhlídkovou vež.
