This plaque is located in Exhibition Place near the Queen Elizabeth Building. It commemorates the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Canadian National Exhibition by Lord Robert Baden-Powell.
Robert Baden-Powell founded the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides in 1907 and 1910 respectively. The plaque also mentions that for 40 years Scouts Canada members have given a free wheelchair service to the disabled at the CNE.
The plaque was placed on August 30th, 2010 by the Greater Toronto Council of Scouts Canada.
