High Street, Fishers, NY may have once connected to Route 96, but it's a dead end road now, that mostly parallels Route 96. Ever on the lookout, I spotted the nearby cobblestone first, and then the sign. The challenge was finding the entry point.

This marke isn't far from the marker that indicates the site where Denonville was ambushed (follow High St, on the other side of Valentown Rd to Willowbrook, and turn right - total distance no more than two miles)

The sign reads:
