Foreign Restaurant is actually a restaurant featuring all vegetarian East Indian cuisine. One may order from the menu or select the buffet option with a wide choice of dishes.
Itaewon has always been international in nature for more than a century. It's proximity to the Yongsan Garrison with its large concentration of American service personnel has made it a magnet for businesses catering to foreigners, but residents and visitors staying at several international hotels. In the last two decades, and increasing number of immigrants from the Mideast, North Africa, and South Asia have entered and the first mosque in Korea was built a few blocks from this restaurant.
