The arena overlooks the business portion of the community and is easy access for residents. There are numerous teams that play hockey here and is a community centre for those long Fox Creek winters when everyone is here...or curling next door.
The Person
Although no information is available on the internet, the text from the plaque in front of the arena speaks of his commitment to Fox Creek, making it a better place. Many of the facilities that were constructed early in the life of this town, which was incorpoated in 1967, were a result of his efforts and ability to bring together a group of people to achieve great results in this community.
