Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve is a wetlands and virgin forest area in Evansville, IN. It is the largest virgin forest in a city setting in the United States. It is located in Wesselman Park on the east side of Evansville, IN.
The boardwalk was added to several sections of the 6 miles of walking trails in the preserve. The boardwalk allows access to visitors to view the seasonal pond and other forested wetlands that had never been viewed before by the public.
The boardwalk was placed as a Eagle Scout project in 2002 by Logan Dyer.
