This (probably fiberglass) miner is depicted panning for gold. He kneels on one knee and holds a pan with both hands. He wears blue jeans, a plaid shirt, vest and hat.
The Gold Strike Casino opened in 1990. it is 13 miles to the State line with California and 32 miles to Las Vegas.
