Long Description:Joseph Geraci owned a gift shop called Rebel Korn'r on US 522/340 in White Post, Virginia back in the 1960s. He added a few dinosaurs and some totem poles on the outside. More dinosaurs and other gigantic fiberglass statues eventually turned Rebel Korn'r into
Dinosaur Land
. Today, three of the prehistoric behemoths still stand at the intersection and a wooden totem is still outside the
gift shop
advertising souvenirs, novelties, fireworks and Minnetonka moccasins.
The colorful pole is topped by a bird head with a long-beaked nose and spread wings. The totem stands in the parking lot next to the curb and is anchored to the building with straps to the roof.
