The 40 Springfield dogs were painted differently and spread around the town for 6 months in 2010 prior to being auctioned off to raise funds for schools. Two of the dogs, including this one, sit in front of Neill and Neill Insurance Agency Inc. at 662 Riverdale St. in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
The small plaque accompanying this dog reads:
"All American Terrier
Artist
Karen Smith
Sponsor
Neill and Neill
Insurance Agency Inc."
This dog is painted with a head that is mostly white and with a red breast, a blue middle, a white back end and a wjite tail. Stars painted red, white, blue and gold are spread over the entire work.
