On January 10th of this year my family and I went to Mount Pakenham to go skiing. I'd been there many times before, but not in a long time, so lots of things had changed. Our first stop of course was the lodge where we registered, got our lift tags, rentals and of course a lesson. We went out on the hills for about 4 hours and when we returned stopped into the cafeteria to grab some greasy fries and pizza. They had quite a variety of food in the cafeteria, but the kids wanted grease. We didn't go to the lounge and bar, but we may if we go again without the kids next time. The lodge isn't as big as some larger ski facilities, but it has everything one needs for a day on the hill and we couldn't have asked for anything more really.
