The main inscription on the obelisk reads:

MORRISON
LOVING HUSBAND OF
SALOME ANN.
DIED 9TH DECEMBER 1940
AGED 79 YEARS

The face to the right is incribed in memory of his Wife Salome Ann Morrison, who appears to have pre-deceased her husband by some 40 years at the age of 29. Heavy overcast followed by driving rain made reading the shadowed obelisk faces difficult, as I did not wish to tread on the surrounding graves, but on the next face I was able to make out an inscription to an Anne E ?, and to their daughter Alice Lavina. The fourth face (to the left of William Alexander Morrison) is blank. Perhaps a future visitor can fill in the missing names and dates.
