This Commemorative Plaque celebrates 150 years as Trustees of the Wangaratta Cemetery and was a Centenary Project of The Rotary Club of Appin Park in conjunction with the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE.
The plaque is mounted on a large rock in a garden bed inside the entrance to the cemetery. It was constructed by students from the "Certificate 2 Building and Construction" course and opened on 7th November 2004.
The plaque bears the logo of the Rural City of Wangaratta on the left and the Rotary Symbol on the right above the inscription which reads:
