Adena Era mound located in SW Ohio. It is the largest conical mound of this kind in the United States.

This conical shaped mound is believed to have been built by the Adenas, who inhabited this area between 1000 BC and 400 AD. The mound is presently 65 feet high, down three feet from a prior excavation in 1869. It is located on top of a large hill, and the view from the top is spectacular. A stone staircase allows visitors to climb to the top.
