A City of Cape Coral benchmark in the northwest corner of a drop inlet (DI) drainage structure along the bike path parallel to Veterans Parkway. A two-inch diameter bronze disk lableled "CITY OF CAPE CORAL BENCH MARK, 249-08-01 DO NOT DISTURB". Mounted in northwest corner of elevated DI structure, about 2.5 ft above ground level, and about 20 ft from the edge of bike path pavement.
