All Creatures Great and Small dramatizes the life of three country vets, Siegfried Farnon, James Herriot and Tristan Farnon.
In this episode Tristan joins the local choir in order to ingratiate himself with a local lass, Jane Mercer. All does not go well for Tristan when Jane takes up the cause of an ill fed donkey, which Tristan feels oblige to support.
The hall where the choir meets was the old chapel at Thoralby. The clips show Tristan and Jane leaving the hall and Tristan driving up to the hall.
