The Elmer and John Veeder Building at 1809/11/13 W. Plaza was built in 1895 for the Veeder brothers. The Veeders were attorneys and lived on the second floor and the first floor was occupied by Hofmeister's Grocery.

The two story decorative brick building has a Moorish flavor. It has several different decorative brick patterns incorporated into is facade. It also features an elaborate cornice with a variety of molding brick, recessed panels and decorative patterns.

The building is in excellent condition and is occupied by a couple shops.
