The date of the building is not known but there are photo's of the schoolhouse taken in 1910. Official records of the school district are not available before 1928. The school was closed permanently on June 14, 1965.

A former student recalls White Lake School.
The school was a white frame structure that sat upon a basement. There was a furnace in the basement. There was a library and everyone learned in a large classroom. All eight grades were taught by one teacher. At recess we played outdoor games such as Ante Ante Over and Captain May I? The school grounds had a swing, rings, and a slide.

Information from the Waupaca County Historical Society.

Mr. & Mrs. Irvin Lipke of West Allis, WI have owned the former White Lake School since the mid-1960s and use it as a summer cottage.
