A former student recalls White Lake School.
The school was a white frame structure that sat upon a basement. There was a furnace in the basement. There was a library and everyone learned in a large classroom. All eight grades were taught by one teacher. At recess we played outdoor games such as Ante Ante Over and Captain May I? The school grounds had a swing, rings, and a slide.
