This LEGO 'Bok Tower' is just amazing, you may think the colours are over the top, on this model, but when you see the real Bok Tower, (just a few miles away,) you will be amazed at the 200 feet high, Pink marble structure. The LEGO 'Bok Tower' plays recorded carillion music.
This 10 feet high model of 'Bok Tower' is located in Miniland USA The heart of every LEGOLAND Park in the USA, Miniland USA is home to seven specially themed areas. The Florida area, encompasses the entire state from Mallory Square in Key West to Bok Tower in Central Florida and Antebellum mansions in the Panhandle.
"In all the natural beauty of the Gardens, Bok believed something was missing. Remembering the glorious sound of carillons in his native Netherlands, he decided to build a beautiful Singing Tower as the focal point of the Gardens which would be crowned by a large carillon.
Looking up at the 203 foot neo-Gothic and art deco Singing Tower carillon is an experience like no other. Designed by famed architect Milton B. Medary and ornately crafted by noted stone sculptor Lee Lawrie, the Tower houses one of the world’s finest carillons. Concerts from the 60 bell carillon at 1 and 3 p.m. fill the Gardens daily."
