This You Are Here sign in located near the parking lot at the Thomas Lincoln Living Farm in the Lincoln Boyhood National Park. This is at the location that President Abraham Lincoln lived for 14 years of his life, starting at the age of 7.
The Lincoln family moved here from Kentucky in 1816. They endured the loss of Nancy Hanks Lincoln in 1818, dying of milk sickness. In 1830, they moved on to Illinios where Abe eventually started his law and then political career.
