The Dice Apartments at 210-218 North Plaza also known Maese House was built circa 1836. The building was the site where Brigadier General Stephan Watts Kearney's proclamation that claimed New Mexico for the United States on August 15, 1846.

The building was a New Mexico style and remodeled circa 1870. It is constructed with stucco over adobe, has five single doors with transoms. It features pressed metal corner piers, transom piers and cornice.

The building is in good condition and has a variety of shops.
